VSR Balancing (CHRA)
Balancing is a critical step in our production process which guarantees high quality rotating components. In order to achieve this, we work closely with leading balancing company, SCHENCK, to balance our turbochargers. SCHENCK`s balance machine is designed to balance turbochargers at operational speeds of up to 200,000 rpm. The high-speed capability of the turbocharger, therefore allowing our engineers to determine the exact weight and positions.

Coordinate Measuring Machine
Casting materials and precise machining are not the only two components to creating a fantastic turbocharger. Measuring plays an integral role as well. The precision of coordinate measuring machine is measured in microns, or micrometers, which is 1/1,000,000 of a meter. The Mitutoyo Coordinate measurement machine (CMM) is a device used in manufacturing and assembly processes to test a part or assembly against the design intent. Therefore, JC turbochargers guarantee top dimension consistencies.
